About Catherine Vincent

Helping You Reconnect with the Wisdom Already Within You

I believe healing begins when we feel deeply seen—by ourselves, by one another, and by the wisdom already present within us.

My work brings together evidence-informed practice and the wisdom of the sacred through medical intuition, energy healing, yoga, mindfulness, somatics, expressive arts, and holistic education. Rather than separating body, mind, emotions, spirit, and energy, I explore the relationships between them, helping people reconnect with themselves in ways that feel grounded, compassionate, and deeply human.

Whether we’re working together in a private session, practicing through The Soul Current with Catherine, or meeting through a workshop or class, my intention is always the same: to create a space where curiosity, self-awareness, and meaningful transformation can unfold.

My Journey

Long before I began practicing medical intuition or energy healing, I was fascinated by a simple question:

What helps people heal, grow, and thrive?

That question led me in many directions.

I studied Integrative Biology and English at the University of Toronto before completing a Bachelor of Education at OISE. Over the past two decades, I’ve worked as an educator, yoga and meditation instructor, wellness leader, and mentor, supporting people of all ages and backgrounds.

As my journey evolved, I found myself drawn toward mindfulness, somatics, expressive arts, counselling, and intuitive healing. Rather than replacing one another, these disciplines began to weave together into a richer understanding of what it means to be human.

Today, I continue to deepen that understanding through graduate studies in Clinical Mental Health Counselling, ongoing somatic training, and dedicated practice as a medical intuitive and energy healing practitioner.

Looking back, I don’t see separate careers or interests.

I see different languages describing the same mystery.

How I Work

No two people are the same, and no two sessions are the same.

Rather than focusing on isolated symptoms or challenges, I look for meaningful patterns across the whole of a person’s experience. Physical sensations, emotions, relationships, beliefs, creativity, stress, spirituality, and life experiences often influence one another in ways that aren’t immediately obvious.

My role isn’t to tell you what your experience means.

It’s to help you explore it with greater clarity, compassion, curiosity, and trust in your own inner wisdom.

Whether we’re working through medical intuition, yoga, expressive practices, mindfulness, or energy healing, my hope is that you leave with greater understanding—not only of what’s happening, but of yourself.

What Makes My Approach Different

I often describe myself as both an educator and a systems thinker.

I love exploring how seemingly separate pieces connect to form a larger whole.

This perspective allows me to integrate insights from psychology, neuroscience, somatics, expressive arts, yoga, mindfulness, spirituality, and medical intuition while honoring the complexity of each person’s lived experience.

One aspect of my experience that has uniquely shaped my work is living with aphantasia—the inability to voluntarily create mental imagery. Rather than relying on visualization, I experience intuitive perception through patterns, felt senses, embodied knowing, and multidimensional energetic awareness.

It has taught me that intuition doesn’t have to look the same for everyone.

Beyond the Session

Healing doesn’t happen only during appointments.

That’s why I created The Soul Current with Catherine—a free YouTube channel featuring guided energy healing meditations, Somatic Expressive Chakra Yoga, educational videos, and heart-led conversations exploring the connections between body, mind, spirit, and energy.

I also share longer reflections, essays, and insights through my writing, offering resources that invite ongoing learning and self-discovery beyond our work together.
